F A S H I O N A FASHION photograph is really a highly stylized portrait with hair, make-up and wardrobe....And the same rules of content, composition and imagination applies, but with the added element of fantasy. I like fashion photography with a narrative built around an idea or a fantasy. Through staging it’s probably closer to theatre than portraiture. The photographs taken in this portfolio was mainy shot on film – which I enjoy due to the discipline it takes and the anticipation of the end result. Jac de Villiers
